The Intelligent Investor

Benjamin Graham “the Father of Value Investing” has strongly influenced the investment style of Warren Buffet, possibly the greatest investor of all time.

Although the book was first wrtten in the 1950’s Warren Buffet writes in the preface

“I thought then that is was by far the best book about investing ever written. I still think it is”

I also believe this is an absolutely critical book to read, and without this knowledge you are opening yourself up to investing without the pre-requisit knowledge.

I strongly recommend the revised edition with the commentary by Jasson Zweig, who adds real value to the book, relating the timeless lesson from Graham to more recent events in the Stock Market, especially the internet bubble in 2000.
